Full Moon in Gemini: What's on your mind?

December 8th, the Moon, in Gemini, will be full and we may be full of it! We will all have something to say. Boasting, schmoozing, and networking are all Gemini's forte. Gemini, the sign the Moon will be in, is known for their chatty nature. We will feel it bubbling up deep inside, our thoughts, our dreams, our criticisms. Boom, out our mouth it will come. We won't be able to help ourselves, but to speak what's on our minds and in our hearts. Ya know what? That may be just what we need.

Full Moons bring light to a certain area of each of our lives every month, that may require some attention. This Full Moon will light up Gemini, the sign of the twins. Gemini is the sign of communication known for having two sides. This duality allows for them to be versatile and at times a little moody. Gemini is ruled by Mercury and rules over the third house. What I love about this sign is how fun and funky they can be. With their interests that are often vast and scattered, they are quirky and always have something interesting to say. What can be frustrating about them is they can be very flighty and hard to get to commit to well, anything. Plans they forget, relationships they cringe, and type of food they want for dinner they can't decide.

This Full Moon will have us perhaps a bit scatter brained, trying to do too much at once, and feeling a little anxious. Gemini has a restless mind and thus lives with a low level of anxiety at baseline. Collectively this energy is in the air (pun intended Gemini is an Air sign) so breathe deep as we go through this day. Check yourself once, twice, thrice when trying to communicate. Mars the planet of aggression is in Gemini at the same degree of this Full Moon. Mars is walking backwards, Retrograde, unable to control where he goes. As he bumps or conjuncts this Moon so full it could burst, us humans may do just that.

What do you want to say? Say it. What do you wish to do. Do it. The time is now to reflect on the year and what opportunities to express yourself that you skipped over. Remember those issues. Remember what you deserve. With care speak up. For the love of God, do it before Mercury Retrogrades at the end of the month and you lose steam. Mars here is the motivator. The Nudge. To leap.

Full Moon Eclipse in Taurus

This Full Moon Eclipse in Taurus may be a mixed bag. Full Moon Eclipses pack the potent energy of a Full Moon...X10. Their effects can be felt for months for those with placements within certain signs. This Full Moon Eclipse will hit Taurus, Scorpio, Aquarius, and Leo.

Taurus the second sign of the Zodiac ruled by Venus, may not be as independent, or impatient as the fist sign, Aries, but they can be just as fun! Taurus is an Earth sign and values patience, precision, and perseverance. They rule the Second house of money honey, and how we make it. Unlike Aries who may go on a shopping spree when they get their grimy little fingers on their paycheck, Taurus saves their hard earned money on quality, expensive items they have been saving for over time. They value hard work and when you call on them to complete a task, they will see it through till the end. The Second house/Eighth house axis deals with our money, power and sex. Sensual not a sexpot, like their opposite sign Scorpio, Taurus can work it. They enjoy slow, sensual sex with meaning. They don't usually go for a hit and run, but would rather stick around and build with their lover. Taurus knows how to make things last and patience is their virtue.

This Full Moon Eclipse may hit us in the wallet with all this talk of moolah! Balance your budget, spend on special, quality items, and stash the rest of your hard earned cash away for the security of your future. Taurus deals with security and feeling secure is ever important to us all now. Taking some time to review what makes you feel secure in this life can be of importance now. Hell, you may find yourself changing your passwords, and even your door locks with no idea the Full Moon Eclipse has a hold of you. Letting go of old beliefs and values that may no longer serve your security may be a theme seen now. Literally cleaning out your closets may be a great idea now. Taurus also enjoys good food and drink, likely in their own home with quality company. We may find ourselves drawn to our creature comforts now. Be careful of overindulgence, as sometimes Taurus doesn't know when to stop.

This Taurus Moon is butt up against Uranus. Uranus brings the unexpected. Be on guard with your finances, security, sex life, and creative projects. Venus, the ruler of Taurus is on display here as well and so is creativity. On the flip side, you may have inspiration hit with brilliant results. With an uncomfortable angle to Saturn in Uranus, I believe we collectively may feel restrictions on our feelings, pocket books, and delays in seeing the profits of hard work done. Exercising patience now is of great importance as the planet of motivation, Mars is retrograde at this time as well.

This is not an easy mash up in the sky right now. You may be conflicted, drained, and frustrated right now. It is a good time to plan, not run full force ahead. Honestly I feel this year has been a year of planning and observing. It has not been a good time to start anything new. Check that baggage you have been carrying around. Acknowledge the significance it has played in your feeling secure. Let go of what seems heavy too heavy to continue to carry.

New Moon Solar Eclipse in Scorpio

There is a Solar Eclipse occurring in the deep and dark sign Scorpio on 10/25/22. We all know watching a solar eclipse is pretty cool, but astrologically they pack a punch! Any time Scorpio is involved we dive deep. Be sure to come up for air at sometime as the emotions involved here can be smothering.

A New Moon often can be felt subtly and brings new beginnings. They are a great time for planning new adventures and projects. They are not usually as potent as a Full Moon that often stir deep emotions. When New Moons occur when the Moon and Sun are at the same point in the same sign. We can get a double dose of that signs energy at the time. When a Full Moon occurs, the Sun and Moon are in opposing signs. This can cause tension. friction, and at times eruptions of emotion. A Solar Eclipse can bring this similar Full Moon energy during a New Moon.

This Solar Eclipse in Scorpio has Venus sandwiched in between the Moon and Sun. Thus our love lives and creativity may be some issues we deal with now. Scorpio is a water sign, that I believe brings some fire in its waves. Ruled by Pluto and co-ruled by Mars, Scorpio is intense, dark and transformation is its thing. Scorpio rules the 8th house and deals with themes of our secrets, the occult, death and dying, endings, other peoples finances, inheritance and paying taxes. Issues with these themes can be magnified at this time.

I see this Solar Eclipse forcing us to look at our intimacy level. How do you approach intimacy in love? Are you vulnerable enough? If searching for love, are you really open to receiving the love you so desire or are you guarded and defensive when someone challenges your boundaries? Another theme I see here are emotions related to past trauma. Take some time to examine how, perhaps subconsciously your trauma keeps you from loving yourself and giving love to others. Pay attention to your dreams. Scorpio and the 8th house rule our subconscious desires. Our intuition will be heightened now so also, as always, listen to your gut!
